Recently, in the production workshop of Anhui Tontouch Technology Co., Ltd. in Chizhou Economic Development Zone, workers were busy assembling finished products. The rapid development of this company, which has been rooted in Chizhou for three years, is inseparable from the excellent business environment of Chizhou Economic Development Zone and the support of the zone in building a complete industrial chain.

As a key enterprise in the new display field of Chizhou Economic Development Zone, Tontouch Technology mainly deals in touch display modules. Since signing an agreement to settle in the zone at the end of 2021, it has experienced three years of development. At the end of 2024, the company established a new complete machine business unit, focusing on fields such as automotive TVs and medical displays, and plans to achieve a production value target of 50 million yuan this year. Its complete machine production line is designed to have a daily production capacity of 1,500 units per line, with an annual capacity of 250,000 units.

"In the three years since settling in, the policies of the Economic Development Zone have been implemented in a timely manner, and the overall business environment has improved," said the head of Tontouch Technology. Through cooperation with Chizhou Vocational and Technical College on order-based training programs, the company has introduced interns and supplemented its workforce through short-term training. Currently, the production capacity of interns has reached 70%-80% of that of regular employees, effectively alleviating manpower pressure. In terms of industrial ecosystem development, the Chizhou Economic Development Zone, focusing on the semiconductor industry, has attracted a number of new display companies, including Shenghua Optics and Xinchi Technology, forming an industrial chain layout from touch modules to complete machine manufacturing. Tontouch Technology, relying on this ecosystem, has achieved a collaborative production model of "front-end screen manufacturing + back-end complete machine assembly." Although its current complete machine business is mainly assembly-based, its touch display module technology has become competitive, making it a supplier to well-known companies such as Haier and BOE.

A company representative revealed that the company's annual target of 250,000 complete machines is expected to be gradually achieved, and it is exploring new application scenarios such as medical and industrial control to cultivate new growth points. Meanwhile, key projects within the Economic Development Zone, such as Ruio Optics' annual production of 300 million smart optical lenses, are accelerating and are expected to begin trial production by the end of July, which is expected to further solidify the foundation of the new display industry chain.

"We will continue to strengthen our two core strengths: packaging and testing, and discrete devices, while accelerating our expansion into new sectors such as automotive-grade power devices and novel displays," said a relevant official from the Chizhou Economic Development Zone. He added that in the future, they will attract more high-value-added projects through fund-based investment promotion and supply chain-based investment promotion, helping companies overcome bottlenecks in technological innovation and market expansion, and jointly building a first-class semiconductor industry base in the province.
